About me
I am a native speaker of English, born and brought up in Scotland. When I moved to Switzerland, I completed my training as a playgroup teacher at the Alfred Adler Institute in Zürich. I then spent 2 years teaching English to adults at the Migros Klubschule in Zürich, whilst at the same time completing various further education courses. My other diplomas include SVEB 1 (Schweizerischer Verband für Weiterbildung) and the CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) from the University of Cambridge. I have taught at KV, in-company courses at the Swiss Post, in various banks in Liechtenstein and have been teaching English in Winterthur for 7 years, since March, 2017 independently. My strengths include enabling students to feel relaxed and at ease so that they can learn optimally in a very comfortable yet productive environment. The pleasant atmosphere is created also by encouraging the students to express their wishes and language needs at all times and if necessary, adapting to such.You are very welcome to attend a trial lesson without any obligation.
